"Hey, Isolde? I'm going outside, okay? DOn't blow anything up, please."

"Whatever. I'll try. I make no promises, though." came her reply.

yumimaru walked outside with veronica

She breathed in deeply.

"I love sunshine days. Even though rain is nice. I get a lot of rain at my house."

"yeah it is enjoyable" yumimaru replied "yeah we need a little more rain if the village is gonna get a good crop in this year" "i dont get to much rain where i live but a river runs through and i have an irrigation system"

She smiled.

"That is very cool." she said.

She scowled.
"I hear that lately there's been a lot of theiving going around. And that they can't catch the one responsible."

"oh who do you think it may be"

Veronica shrugged.

"No one knows. My guess it's someone who just came to town. Maybe someone just passing though. Or maybe someone who has been here forever, and never showed his face."

She laughed.
"Or maybe it's Valcarion taxing us poor folks."

Veronica shrugged.

"Who knows? Whoever it is, I have to applaud their intelligence."

"if they rob me they is sturpid because i will rip off their face and tear out their brains and stomp them into the dust" yumimaru replied

Veronica laughed uneasily.

"oh i was just kiddin" yumimaru said thinkin he may have made her think he was crazy

SHe smiled.

"I know." she said, though she really ahdn't been sure

they continued walkin "where do you wanna go" he asked

"ummm....I don't know."

"hmmmmmmm...."

Veronica kicked at a pebble and watched it land in a puddle.

"I wonder sometimes if the theif isn't someone we all know."

"hmm you got a point my bid is on valcarion if it is but then again he aint the brightest one to steal and not get caught"

Veronica laughed.

"Aren't you two friends."

"yeah i just joke about him sometimes"

She laughed.
"Isolde does too. A lot."

"yeah" yumimar replied "i think we all do a little"

Veronica sighed.

"I worry about Isolde sometimes. She has such an acid tongue."

"hmm i bet that burns having an acid toung"

"I was speaking figuratively, not literally.'' she said drily.
