Isolde shook her head.

"I can't. I have to go make sure that Veronica is okay...you guys go ahead..."

"Veronica's not the only person she needs to be worried about," Alex said under her breath.

Alex maneuvered about the tunnels and caverns.

She saw the light at the opening of the cave.

She realized she had beat Isolde when she saw Veronica was still there.

Alex swung over onto a ledge that overlooked Veronica.

She saw a strategic way that she coul capture her.

She lept behind her very quietly as grab ahold of her.

Now all she had to do was put her plan into action before Isolde could reach her...

(Veronica is at her house, dude) lol

I awake. I wonder, If I was succesful at escaping my eternal punishment. But as I feel the dirt on the ground, I know that I am back on sweet earth. I try to think of how much time has passed since I've been in this world. I feel as though every ounce of love has been taken from me. I feel...I feel like killing someone, any one. But, first I will seek revenge on the sole that took my life from me. Would anyone like to help?

Isolde looked about, fiddling with the razor sharp blade as she looked about for Alex.

"I know you're in here, why don't you quit being a chicken and show yourself?" she yelled, gripping the knife's handle tightly.

I see a human. I identify the female as Isolde. I grab her neck raise her in the air, ready to kill her. "Friend or Foe" I ask.

Isolde's eyes grew with terror.

For once in her life, she was speecheless.

"F-Friend." she managed to stutter, knowing that her knife was about as useful as a leaf against this threat.

She tried to seem at ease.
"What is it you want?" she asked, fighting off the quiver in her voice.

Isolde, always in control of the situation, had finally been cought off guard.

"drop her" yumimaru shouts. jumping out of the cave with sword drawn and ready to fight if it must be so.

"I sense great fear in you ." I wondered if I should kill this pathetic mortal. " I'll let you live. But only if you lead me out of this cave." " Make one wrong move and I'll kill you" "I'm not in the mood to make Friends so don't expect me to be nice"

"N-no fear." she said, not trustin her own voice.

She turned her back on whatever it was cautiosly, looking back several times to make sure it would not kill her.

"This way." she said, beginning to head south.

Valcarion shows up and grabs his sword teaming up with yumimaru

(Dude...you just messed it up...now I am as good as dead...no wait...killin anothers char is not allowed...oh well I'm good )

Isolde felt her innards turn a somersault.

"Oh, crap..." she said, eyeing the creature, and debating whether to run, or brazen it out.

For once, she preferred the former, but her knees felt like jelly and she couldn't move.

Feeling just a little warmth in whats left of my heart I say "Thank you for helping me".

"yeah lets get out of this cave i need to get to the jungle" yumimaru said putting up his sword. "lets go"

Isodle nodded at the 'thing', fighting off waves of sickness, and allowed herself to be half led, half dragged out of the cave by Yumimaru

there is this secret path out of this cave that leads to the jungle hurry follow me.

Isolde's head was swimming.

"But I thought we were going this way," she said, looking about her in utter confusion. She eventually surrendered and let them take her wherever.

Oh im sorry Isolde,but this IS the quickest route.

Isolde shrugged, watching Valcarion in the darkness. Had it been any other occasion, she would have abruptly slapped him across the face for ao much as touching her, but under the current circumstance, she let it go.l Just this once.

I follow them secretly. Keeping my eyes on Isolde. There is something familiar about her...

When she culd see the light at the end of the cave, she pulled her arm roughly away from Valcarion.

"I'm fine." she said, eyes dancing with defiance.

Her conciounce berated her, and, thought she hated it with every fiber in her being, she managed to mumble a thank you to Valcarion. Her thanks to Yumimaru were far less filled with reluctance, probably because he hadn't wished arrows to 'puncture her eyes'

I remember more and more as I see her. I go up to her, camly this time. To talk and if she doesn't give me answers. I'll feed her to satan.

(Oh Lord...)

Isolde felt the presence behind her, and dreaded to turn around. But she managed, and to keep the fear out of her voice, replacing it with cool confidence

"May I help you?"
