Aveil's Room

Aveil came out of the Inn, yawning. SHe hadn't slept in a bed in a long time. A very long time. Not since she'd been kicked out of the tribe.

"hey" yumimaru asked as he walked up to the inn seeing her there "oh i never got your name"

"Aveil." she said, caught off guard, and being abruptly brought back from her fantasies to the real world.

"aveil, thats a nice name" "did you sleep well at the inn"

"Thank you. And yes. Much more comfortable than desert sand or the cots on a ship."

"sounds bad why do you live in the dessert"

"Well, I did live with my tribe, but I was kicked out. So now I am a nomad. I travel the deserts, as well as the ocean."

She failed to mention that the latter was due to her career as a pirate.

"why would they kick out some 1 of such beauty"

She smiled.
"Well, thank you. But I think it was because I grew to powerful, and they felt thretened. So out I went."

She neglected to say that she had mastered her skills as a theif and proved too much af a handful to be controlled by the tribe anymore.

"oh i see"

She smiled.
"When you're in a tribe of all women, it is needless to say that jealousy is not unheard of. I'd say it is natural. So when one proves to much to control, it is the expected course of action to eliminate said pest. Namely me."

"well that must suck"

" I suppose." she said.

"But it has made me stronger. I relize I don't need them."

"well thats good i guess" then he snapped back to reality after looking away from her face and remembered the money he had lost "hey would you happen to know if i dropped any money last nite on the walk here"

"No...I haven't. How much was it?" she said, her face compassionate.[/url]

"i beleive it was........." he looked back at her and forgot about it again "what were we talkin bout"

She smiled.

"Nothing...nothing at all."

"oh well shoot i could have sworn it was important"

Aveil laughed.

"We were talking about the desert. That's all."

"oh yeah well how is it in the dessert"

She smiled. This was just too easy.

"Just fine. Say, how do you get to the ocean from here? Which direction would I go?"

"oh you would head north west" "you want me to accompany me there"

"I am not going right now. I am just getting the lay of the land in my head."

Like I don't already know! she thought.

SHe smiled.
"Anyway, I must be going. I won't be in thins village long."

Just long enough to rob the richest ones blind.

"hmm ok well if you ever need nething just blow this horn" he said handing her the elvenhorn

"Oh, thank you!" she said, heading off to the marketplace. From there, she made her way to the upscale part of town.
