Behind the Masks of MM

Yeah, Majora's Mask took the series in a whole new direction. In addition to the parallel universe, you had one of the 'darker' storyllines of the Legend of Zelda : In a mere three days, a moon that has been enticed from its orbit by an insane Skullkid will collide with the world, wiping out the land in its entirety. Talk about scary. I thought Ganondorf was bad? There was also the added element of insanity on Majora's part. Gone was Ganon, and his lust for power and destruction (for, even thought that is a crazy motive, it at least makes sense) and in its place was this mask. Seemingly harmless. But it wanted to wipe out a civilization.

Why?

Because it could. Because it had the power, and it wanted the world gone. That's all.

But, even though Link has to stop this hulking rock from destroying the world, he still has the time to track down an arsenal of masks. Majora takes the cake as the coolest (if not the most evil) mask. But what of the others, staning in the shadows rather than the limelight?

Well, this is where all those poor forgotten masks get a shot.

Oh yeah, in case you hadn't noticed, many of the masks in MM are merely the same from OoT, only now they have a PURPOSE! Dun dun dun!!

Anyway...yeah. One of my personla favorites was the Stone Mask. Stone Mask = invisibility = awesomeness!
