Behind the Falls

Jade had looked everywhere.

She finally went to the waterfalls.

When she stood beside the waterfall, she heard a strange, ominous voice coming from behind it.

Isolde and Veronica were behind the water, talking.

" Well, I ..." Veronica said.

"It isn't safe anymore, Veronica! Someone is gonna find out, and then we are gonna be hunted down. We are already running a risk by tellin that human girl about nearly killing someone!"

Veronica sighed.
"I really do feel bad about lying to her like that."

"It was necessary." Isolde said.
"you know as well as I do that we are safest if no one knows the truth, and we live in seclusion."

Jade waited patiently to see if they would say the secret.

Veronica sighed.

"Do you ever get tired of it?" Veronica asked her sister.

Isolde laughed.
"Of what? Never aging?"

"No, not having human contact."

Isolde sighed.
"Sometimes."

Jade gasped.

Then realizing what she had done, she covered her mouthand ran behind a nearby tree.

Isolde groaned.
"Did you here that? See, even now we are in danger!"

When Jade heard that she stopped her every movement. She began to breathe through her mouth, that made less noise. She sat still aiting for them to say something.....

Veronica sighed.

"You are imagining things."

Jade made a sigh of relief. She figured she had learned quite enough and it was time to confront them.

She walked into the tavern and said,"Is there anything you would like to tell me about yourelf? Huh!? Something like,' I never age.' How about that? For starters." Jade yelled.

She tapped her foot wile waiting for a response.

Isolde's jaw dropped. She raised her arms to hit her, but Veronica grabbed Isolde's arm.

"Stop...we can't hide it any longer."

"YES, we can!"

Jade yelled
"I just thought that sce you were my friend you would have old me that!"

"DO YOU SEE, VERONICA?" Isolde fumed,

"THIS is why we can't fraternize with normal people!"

Veronica lowered her head.
"I-I know..."

"I'm sorry, but I just thought you trusted me,"Jade spoke solemnly.

"Maybe we could star again fresh. Knowing that we can tell each other everything.How's that sound?"Jade queried.

Jade lowered her head as she waited for a response.

Veronica smiled, but Isolde's eyes held a look of mistrust.

"If you can't trust me, then just say 'no' ," Jade said with a devilish smirk towards Isolde.

"Come on! It's not that hard you know. It's only one syllable,"Jade remarked.

Isolde about slapped Jade across the face, but Veronica stopped her.

"Yes."

"Very well then. Now, can i trust you with a secret?"Jade asked

"Yes.'' Veronica said.

Isolde calmed herself down.

"There is a place.....with treasures renown.......have you heard of them?.........they are the treasures of Orchid Tarvis(supposedly a famous treasure....just pretend...use you imagination!)"

"I know where they are!" Jade exclaimed.

Isolde smirked.
"That's very nice. Good for you."

Veronica smiled.
"That is nice! How did you find it?"

"Well, as it turns out, they are in Hyrule!"Jade exclaimed.

"I only have a map, but if you would like, we could search for them. How's that sound?"Jade asked proudly.

Isolde smiled.
"I love a good adventure..."

Veronica looked worried.
"But, what if someone else find out our secret?"

"Oh, loosen up, Veron!" Isolde said,
"You always WERE the worrywart of the family."

"Hey! There will be no fighting on this adventure!"Jade yelled trying to be heard over Veronica and Isolde.

"Now, if someone finds out what we're up to, I'm sure Isolde can figure something out to get them off our track. That does not include killing."Jade said.

"Now who's in?!"Jade asked excitedly.

Isolde frowned.
"What about serioulsy wounding them?"

She smiled.
"But I'm in!"

Veronica looked around her.
"Erm...two to one, I guess I'm coming too..."

"Come on! It'll be an adventure!."Jade expressed.

Jade pulled out a map that looked as though it was written thousands of years ago.

"Here it is. I can't decipher maps........anyone else willing to take a shot at it?"jade sasked .
