The Minish Stump

In a most remote part of the forrest is one single, solitary stump. This is the home of Scarlett Minish.

Scarlett has the ability to become minish. This is the secret that she posesses that no one knows about......and she wants to keep it that way.

Isolde was walking through the forest kicking things. It helped her calm down.

Why couldn't Veronica see that trusting people was bad news?

In her anger she kicked Scarlett's stump.

"What in all of Hyrule was that?!" Scarlett scrame while putting down her book of How to Get Rid of 50 Foot Pests .

Scarlett stepped outside and looked around.

Isolde kicked at the stump again.

"STUPID STUPID HUMANS!"

Scarlett just stared in awe of what stood in front of her.

As Isolde passed by, Scarlett waited for an appropriate time to become full size.

Once she was past, she bacame taller and said,"Excuse me, but did you know that they say that this is where the minish live?"Scarlett asked in rage.

Isolde laughed.

"The Minish? I thought they were called the Picori?"

(oh yeah. i was trying to remen=mber that word! lol!)


"Yes.....that too! Well they are in this area, and I am sure they would appereciate it if you would quit kicking their homes!" Scarlett yelled disgustedly.

Isolde smiled.

"I am sorry. I remember reading about the Picori...I saw one once..."

"Really?Where?"Scarlett asked hesitantly.

"Out here. In the woods. It was a long time ago..."

Isolde smiled.

"She was so tiny! But she was my friend...and then..."

Isolde looked said for a minute, but regained her 'tough-girl' composure.

"Never mind that..."

"Oh, what happened, if you don't mind me asking?"Scarlett asked solemnly.

"People happened. Don't they always? They came through, and destroyed the village while hunting and chopping wood. When I came...she was gone..."

Isolde frowned.

"Just one more reason those humans are bad news."

"What do you mean'Those humans'?"Jade asked quizzically.

"Are you non-human?!"Jade asked ecitedly.

Jadethought she was going to leap with joy for befriending a non-human, but that would reveal her secret.

Isolde smiled.

"I look human, don't I?"

She pulled back her short white hair to reveal pointed ears.
"I am not human...I am a survivor of a long-lost race of people, granted with powers by a princess in her final breath."

Jade leaped with joy.

"Wow!"

"I've been waiting for someone to tell me that!"

"Can I confide in you?!"

"Yeah, sure!...then, I will tell you about me..."

Jade was very excited.

"Okay, I am of the Picori race. I can turn into one any time I want."

"Oh, and I live in that stump you just kicked."

Isolde smiled widely.

"R-really? I-I am Hylian..."

Scarlett's eyes lit up.

"No way! It is sooooo awesome to meet someone non-human."

"Do you know anybody else non-human?"

"Yeah...my sister..."

"Really?! Oh!"

Jade started rambling on about all the things they could do.

"We could star a non-human society. Every Wednedsday could be lasagna night where we go to eat lasagna and protest humans. We could start going to the king on a regular basis and tell him of our situation."

Scarlett didn't even realize that she was ingoring her friend.

Isolde gave her a strange look.

"ermm...yeah...."

"Sorry. I got a little carried away."

"So, where do you live?"Scrlett asked.

"In the 'haunted house' in these woods."

"Wow. Is it scary? Is it really haunted?"Scarlett blabbered.
