Another Day in the Village

"Like I know why they did it!? But it doesn't matter. Now we hate people." Isolde said, standing protectively beside Veronica.

"Oh....ok. Guess you hate me too. I'll let you get back to your duties. Maybe I'll talk to you tomorrow."Jade spoke solemnly.

As she exited she looked at a paining which had alway dran her attention.

It was as though the pinting was bringing her and Veronica together.

But she never could get a good glance at it.

She thought to herself,'Maybe tomorrow will bring hope.'

Veronica sighed.

"I do hate people..." she told Isolde.

"They are so unfair..."

Isolde nodded at her sister.
"Yes, but I think she is decent...for a person..."

Veronica sighed.
"Yes...but it is far too soon to tell..."

Early the next morning, Jade got ready to go to Veronica's home.

When she got there, nobody was home.

She looke all over: through the windows, through the peephole in the door...everywhere.

She thought they must have gone into town. i'll look there.

She looked all over town. She was nowhere to be found.
